Ladin Museum - Tor Castle
The Museum Ladin Ćiastel de Tor has since 2001 been housed in Thurn Castle. Within its historic walls there is a presentation of the culture of over 30,000 Ladin people, whose common identity is characterised by two important features: their language, which derives from popular Latin, and the unique mountain landscape of the Dolo mites. The museum addresses the geology, archaeology, history, language, tourism and the arts and crafts of the five Ladin valleys. Special exhibitions with Ladin- related themes complement the permanent collection.
