Markets depict South Tyrol in all its diversity. Here you will find the best farmer’s food, including homemade farmhouse bread, Speck Alto Adige PGI, fruits and vegetables, refined products like flowers but also fashion and handicrafts. The beauty of it - locals and guests shop here. The offer is therefore authentic, honest and of the highest quality. The spectrum ranges from daily markets, such as the Bolzano/Bozen greengrocer’s market, to farmers' markets and weekly markets, or traditional markets, such as the famous Stegen market in Bruneck/Brunico.
At the weekly farmers' markets you will find seasonal and local products straight from producers. Weekly markets in larger cities also offer a wide selection of clothing and useful everyday items.
Our traditional markets are held once a year on a special occasion. At harvest time, for example, we recommend a visit to the Martini market in Girlan/Cornaiano near Eppan/Appiano on the Wine Road. Not to forget our romantic Original South Tyrolean Christmas markets and the small Christmas markets across the region during the Advent Season.
