No, there are no wild lions or giraffes in South Tyrol; the wine safari is an expedition to discover superb wines along South Tyrol’s wine route.
TheWine Safari includes:
- a visit to a sparkling wine producer with a tasting of 3 different bubblies
- a walk among the vineyards to find out about the winegrower’s art and a tasting of 3 wines
- lunch with a tasting menu with a wine producer who will personally present 3 of his wines
- a visit to Bolzano/Bozen, a true wine town and to conclude the day in congenial surroundings with delicious appetisers
Dates: all year round, each first Friday of the month
Duratation: from 8.30am to 7.30pm

A month-long "Wine Route Weeks" festival (Vino in festa) is taking place in 15 wine villages along the wine route from 14th May to 11th June 2011. It provides wine lovers and others with a general interest in wine the opportunity to become acquainted with South Tyrol’s vinous specialities and to visit impressive places of historical and cultural interest.
The Wine Safari offers a singular event to celebrate wine.
What: a trip in a comfortable mini bus accompanied by professional guides, a wine tasting, a tasting menu at lunch and a guided visit to Bolzano/Bozen
Participants: a minimum of 10 persons - maximum 20 persons. Special programme available on request for groups of 10 persons and over.
